ICv2 has learned that Inkworks Cards will produce a trading card set based on Madagascar: The Crate Escape, tied to the sequel of the hit 2005 Dreamworks animated release (see 'Toon Tops Box Office').  The card release will street in late October, in advance of the planned November 7th release of the film.

Inkworks is also producing a set based on Dreamworks' Kung Fu Panda, the animated comedy release due out June 6th.  This movie looks like a hit to us, if only because it has obtained the rights to one of the most hard-to-forget songs ever, Carl Douglas' Kung Fu Fighting, for use in the film and in marketing.
