Fantasy Flight Games has announced the autumn 2008 release of a board game based on the popular Sc-Fi Channel television series Battlestar Galactica.  The BSG: Board Game will be a semi-cooperative affair in which players work together to solve problems confronting the fleet ranging from mechanical to political issues -- and of course they always have to be on-guard against Cylon attacks.  But one or more of the crew members just might just turn out to be a Cylon, which should give this board game plenty of tension.

Fantasy Flight plans on releasing the BSG: Board Game in the fall of 2008 between the first and second halves of the BSG TV series' final season.
