Back in January ADV quietly removed a number of titles from its Website and failed to ship its ongoing series to retailers according to schedule, effectively placing them on hiatus while the company resolved rights issues.  Now most of those ongoing titles are back on a revised schedule. While ADV's revised March slate had some releases in the same series shipping in close proximity (Kanon Vol. 3 was set to ship just a week after Vol. 2, and Moonlight Mile Vol. 2 is shipping on March 18th, three weeks after the first volume), ADV's newly announced April and May schedule marks a return to normal shipping patterns.  Most notably the hot videogame-based Devil May Cry 2 is now set for a May 6th release, which is important since the first DMC anime release is the best-selling 2008 anime DVD so far.

The one key series that ADV had previously announced (see "ADV Licenses Three More") that is not on the new schedule yet is the eagerly anticipated Gainax mecha series Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann.  The other series announced in July along with Devil May Cry and Gurren Lagann, Kyoshiro to Towa no Sora (Kyoshiro and the Eternal Sky), will debut on May 20th with the English title Shattered Angels.
