A two-hour Battlestar Galactica prequel has been greenlit, and will go into production in Vancouver this spring.  Caprica will follow the Adama and Greystone families in storylines that take place 50 years before the events in Battlestar Galactica, before the creation of the Cylons.  BSG exec producers Ronald D. Moore and David Eick will also produce Caprica.  It's being called a backdoor pilot, which means that it could be developed into a series.

The fourth and final season of BSG will premiere April 4th.  The promotion has begun--ten cast members appeared in costume on the Late Show with David Letterman on Wednesday night reading the Top Ten Reasons to Watch the New Season of Battlestar Galactica.  The good news:  Tricia Helfer (#6) said, "There's a good chance you'll see me naked."  The bad news:  Michael Hogan (Colonel Saul Tigh) also said, "There's a good chance you'll see me naked."
