Tokyopop and HarperCollins have announced their graphic novel co-productions for 2008, which include Bad Kitty: Catnipped by Michelle Jaffe, Warriors: The Rise of Scourge by Dan Jolley, Erin Hunter, and Bettina Kurkoski, and Warriors: Tigerstar & Sasha by Dan Jolley, Erin Hunter and Don Hudson.

First up in June is Bad Kitty: Catnipped, the exciting saga of a contemporary Nancy Drew-like damsel detective who has to solve a series of puzzling crimes in spite of her overly protective father’s efforts to thwart her every move.

In July comes the first of two graphic novels based on Erin Hunter’s popular series of Y.A. novels.  Warriors: The Rise of Scourge chronicles the terrifying truth behind Scourge, the cat who became the greatest enemy the ThunderClan has ever faced.

The final Tokyopop/HarperCollins co-production of the year is set for September with the release of Warriors: Tigerstar and Sasha, the first volume in a manga trilogy that is the continuation of a hugely popular children’s book with nearly 2 million copies in print.
