Quebecor Creates Publishing Services Group& Sells European HoldingsPublished: 06/23/2008 12:00am Key comic book printer Quebecor World has integrated its magazine, book and directory divisions into a single operating entity. Consolidating the company’s chief divisions into one operating platform will streamline its operations, improve services, and optimize its resources and cost structure as Quebecor World attempts to emerge from bankruptcy (see “Quebecor Loses Billions” and “Quebecor Files for Bankruptcy Protection”).
Kevin J. Clarke will head the new Publishing Services Group. He has led the company’s book and directory divisions for the past five years. The formation of the Publishing Services Group follows the previously announced integration/consolidation of the company’s U.S. retail insert, catalog, Sunday magazine and direct divisions into the Marketing Solutions Group.
