Wendy and Richard Pini’s Elfquest is set up as a movie at DC parent Warner Bros., according to Hollywood Reporter.  Rawson Thurber, best known for directing Dodgeball:  A True Underdog Story with Ben Stiller, will write, direct, and produce.  It’s undecided at this point whether it will be animated or live action.  

DC Comics had the most recent publishing rights for the Elfquest series (see “DC Acquires Elfquest Rights”), whose origins date to the late seventies.
