Rob Liefeld

As the San Diego Comic-Con approaches comic book option announcements are becoming more common than seagulls at the dump.  Currently the Hollywood trades are buzzing with news that Warner Bros., flush with the success of The Dark Knight, has acquired the rights to Capeshooters, an as-yet-unpublished graphic novel by Rob Liefeld.  Warners grabbed the Liefeld project for Bryan Singer (X-Men, Superman Returns) to produce under his Bat Hat Harry banner.

Capeshooters is the saga of two slackers who join the paparazzi in order to take covert videos and snapshots of superheroes only to discover that a top costumed crimefighter is actually the opposite of what he appears to be.  Needless to say their discovery puts them on the run and in grave danger.
