Dabel Bros. Publishing has informed ICv2 that the creative team for the company’s recently announced comic adaptation of Robert Jordan’s Wheel of Time (see “Dabels to Adapt Wheel of Time”) will consist of writer Chuck Dixon and artist Mike S. Miller.  Dixon is a prolific comic book writer, who probably wrote more Batman stories during the 1990s than any other four-color scribe.  After a stint at CrossGen, Dixon returned to DC in 2004 and worked on Robin and Batman & the Outsiders before announcing abruptly (and somewhat mysteriously) that he was leaving DC Comics in early June of this year.

Mike S. Miller is a veteran comic book artist who has worked for Marvel, DC, and Image.  He is perhaps best known for his work on Ben Avery’s adaptation of George R.R. Martin’s Hedge Knight for Image and Devil’s Due.
