The last announcement that DC Comics made at the San Diego Comic-Con was a “doozy”—Neil Gaiman and Andy Kubert will collaborate on a Batman saga in January.  No details were given, but after the popular Batman RIP storyline ends in November, DC will publish a two-part Denny O’Neil story that looks at what changes have happened to Gotham City during the mayhem caused by the Black Glove in the Grant Morrison-penned Batman RIP saga. Following that comes the Gaiman/Kubert run on the Caped Crusader, which should be one of the main comic events of 2009.
