Tokyopop and iaTV have announced a broad-ranging agreement for Tokyopop programming to be aired on iaTV, and for iaTV to rep Tokyopop ad sales.  Three series will begin airing on iaTV in September:  anime series Initial D, which will be stripped twice daily beginning September 1st, and Psychic Academy, which will air as part of the network’s Tuesday evening A-Pop line-up beginning September 9th;  and FMW (Frontier Martial-Arts) Wrestling, which will air Fridays following Pancrase:  Legends of Mixed Martial Arts.  Broadcast rights to the anime feature Spring and Chaos were also acquired by iaTV.

iaTV will also air Tokyopop’s iManga series, shorts that combine animation with still art, music, and English voiceovers.  Series already created include Bizenghast, Gyakushu!, Princess Ai, Riding Shotgun, and Sokora Refugees.

In addition, iaTV will sell advertising for Tokyopop.com, and for “brand integration within original and user-generated video content, mobile advertising, and other applications.”
