Voltron Movie Gets Director

For New Producer

Relativity Media, which is close to signing a deal for a Voltron feature with World Events Productions, is in talks to give the director’s chair for the feature to Max Makowski.  Makowski has a couple of signficant films in the pipe, including a film version of Kung Fu and a remake of Shinobi.  He also wrote the Hawaii Five-O feature. 

Relativity is picking up the film after New Regency (see “Voltron Movie Close”) dropped it, although they’re using the script by Justin Marks (Street Fighter, Hack/Slash) associated with the New Regency production.
