Imagi Gets $10 Million

To Replace Failed Raise

Imagi International has raised $10 million from Shui On Holdings, which will partially replace a $20 million placement from Oxley Spring Media that didn’t close, according to Variety.  Imagi has some heavy expenses in the pipe for its Astro Boy (see “Summit to Distribute Astro Boy”) and Gatchaman (see “Paul Dini Collaborates on Gatchaman”) features, among others, which total $30 million in planned production expenses.
