Gonzo Parent Accepts Take-Over Offer

GDH, the parent of anime studio Gonzo (Afro Samurai, Brave Story), has accepted a take-over offer from investment firm Iwakaze Capital.  The bid involved a new share issue and the purchase of additional shares from stockholders, which will give the firm a majority interest.  GDH showed a big loss of over $32 million in its most recent fiscal year. 

 

The management team of GDH will be replaced on October 1st.
