Fantasy Flight Games has released details regarding its holiday-season release schedule for six product lines, covering its miniatures, board game, and card game properties.

The Tide of Iron: Designer Series (MSRP $24.95) is a hardcover manual containing 20 scenarios for the customizable WWII board game, created by veteran wargaming designers. Scenarios range from quick skirmishes to huge tactical battles, some requiring the North African expansion Days of the Fox and one huge scenario that requires two copies of the base set.

The Frozen Wastes (MSRP $49.95) is an expansion for the fantasy board-game Runebound that focuses on the frozen land of Isheim. Players will have to contend with the immortal Arshan the Mad, as well as the harsh land itself. The expansion includes six new heroes and cards representing new survival gear, icy terrain, and new creatures.

Fantasy Flight’s partner, Rackham, is also releasing several new figures for its Confrontation and AT-43 games in December. Confrontation gets two Lion Army Unit Boxes, Archers ($29.99) and Swordsmen ($24.99), containing eight and six miniatures, respectively; an Attachment Box for the Swordsmen ($19.99), containing three figures; and a Hero Box containing the Lion Army Hero Agonn ($9.99).

AT-43 fans can look forward to the Storm Arachn Unit Box ($24.99), containing six Storm Arachn Therian Army units; a K-Burner Unit Box, with two K-Burners ($29.99); and a Dotch Yaga Unit Box ($59.99), with its single Dotch Yaga figure. All figures are pre-painted and come with reference cards.

Finally, Fantasy Flight’s two “Living Card Games” (see “FFG Explains Its (Non-) Collectible Game Strategy”) will each see new releases in December. Game of Thrones: Refugees of War and Call of Cthulhu: The Antediluvian Dreams each add 40 fixed cards (20 unique) to their respective games and each has an MSRP of $9.95.
