New company MG3 will publish a line of graphic novels from Tony Caputo, beginning next year.  The line will be full color, hardcover volumes, with “competitive MSRP,” and creators from around the world.

First up will be Chaosis, a horror techno-thriller written by Caputo, with art by newcomer Lin-Li Hsang, edited by Jonathon Gilbreath.

Other titles written by Caputo in production include Vespers 2, with art by Rol Enriquez and Octographics (Volume 1 was published by Now, see “Now Comics Update”); Four-Color, Inc with art by Rowel Rogue, Jose Cruz and Patrick Williams; and Little Big Shot, with art by Rol Enriquez.

Other MG3 titles in pre-production include Okeanos, written by Jonathon Gilbreath – art is TBD; A.R.C. Angel, written by Gilbreath and James van Hise; Island’s Edge; and Blood Shadow, written by Gilbreath with art by Hsang.

Caputo wrote How to Self-Publish Your Own Comic Book (125,000 copies to date) and Visual Storytelling, both from Watson Guptill, and also published numerous licensed and original comics with Now Comics, including Speed Racer, Astro Boy, Terminator, Real Ghostbusters, and Green Hornet, among others.

MG3 is a multi-media development and distribution company based in Los Angeles and Japan.  A company spokesperson declined to reveal its principals, saying only that they “are active within the entertainment industry.”

The books will be completely produced before marketing begins.
