Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, who wrote the two Chronicles of Narnia films (Chronicles of Narnia:  The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and Prince Caspian), will write the upcoming Captain America film from Marvel Studios, according to the Hollywood trades. 

The studio signed Joe Johnston as director last week (see “Captain America Gets a Director”).

Release date is scheduled for May 6, 2011, in the run-up to the Avengers film.
