Fables Pilot

ABC has given a put pilot commitment to Bill Willingham’s Fables (Vertigo) as a one-hour drama, according to Hollywood Reporter.  It will be directed by David Semel, who also directed the pilot for Heroes. 

The script for the pilot will be written by Stu Zicherman and Raven Metzner, who co-created the short-lived Six Degrees, and also had a hand in the script for Elektra (along with others).  They told Hollywood Reporter that they were life-long comic fans who had fallen in love with Fables with the first issue back in 2002.
