Triad Toys is planning releases around three licenses beyond the Samurai Champloo license previously announced (see “Samurai Champloo Figures from Triad”):  Soul Calibur 4, John Carter of Mars, and Wanted:  Dead or Alive. 

Taki, a 12” figure from Soul Calibur 4, will street March 27th.  It will feature the “Otaku 1.2 body with metal pinned hips” and the Bullet Time display stand.  Other Soul Calibur 4 figures will follow. 

Triad has entered into a two year licensing agreement with Edgar Rice Burroughs, Inc. for 12” figures and statues of the characters from Burrough’s John Carter of Mars works.  Visuals will be drawn both from modernized Triad Toys concepts and the classic look.  First releases are planned for early 2009.

And Triad will produce a series of toys and collectible products based on Wanted:  Dead or Alive, the TV series starring Steve McQueen that ran from 1958-1961.
