Michael Boze of HawgHead Comics in Fort Smith, Arkansas saw the comments of John Miller of Lost Realms Comics and Games on the new Diamond Select Toys - Toys R Us relationship (see “John Miller of Lost Realms Comics and Games on DST/TRU”), and others on comic prices and digital comics, and shares his thoughts:

Well, I guess John and I are in agreement over this.  I do not sell many Diamond Direct but now there’s one more item that I will not be able to use to keep customers coming into the store.

If Marvel pushes the price of comics to $3.99 and continues to put online comics "not available anywhere else" into the market I am afraid 2009 might be a pretty bleak year for retailers.
