Fantasy Flight Games has announced Adventure Leagues, a new organized play program for its Call of Cthulhu LCG (Living Card Game, its non-collectible card game format, see “FFG Retools CCGs”).  The new program, which joins FFG’s recently launched organized play programs for the World of Warcraft Adventure Game and Game of Thrones LCG (see “FFG Expands OP”), will offer structured play, tracking and custom prizes.

The league kit, sold for $15, will include one CoC Playing Card Deck, four CoC art prints, 16 Premium Poker Chip Gate Token Counts for participation, and 1 CoC Store Poster.

Leagues will run in a six weeks on, two weeks off format.  The league is storyline based, with players using cards from the Core Set, along with two Asylum Packs, one determined by the league organizer, the other by the player.  Additional Asylum Packs will be added to each player’s card pool throughout the course of the league.  Players acquire Currency in each league game, which can be used to purchase Upgrades that give players new abilities.
