The first 50 minutes of Up, the 10th animated feature film from Pixar, will be screened in public for the first time at the New York Comic Con at the IGN Theater at 6:30 pm on Saturday, February 7th.  Director Pete Doctor (Monsters, Inc.) will introduce the film, which is slated to be released on May 29th (see “Best in Shows: 2009 Pt.II”).  Up, the latest in a long line of original projects from Pixar, is the saga of a 78-year-old balloon salesman who ties thousands of helium balloons to his house and floats away to South America only to find out that he has a stowaway on board—a chunky 9-year-old boy scout.
