Tokyopop to Produce Domo Manga

In Full Color

Tokyopop announced at New York Comic Con that it will produce a full color manga based on Japanese property Domo for release this fall.  Domo has been a series of shorts first aired on Japanese public television, but has inspired a wide range of licensed products here in North America.  Some of the two minute shorts were streamed on Veoh; 26 were shown on Nickelodeon last fall (see “Domo Appearing on VeohTV”). 

A major display program in Target last Halloween did very well, and more promotions are planned for 2008, including a possible QSR promotion.
