Paramount has announced that a trailer for the J.J. Abrams Star Trek film will appear before theatrical showings of Watchmen, which opens March 6th.  The Trek film opens two months later, on May 8th (see “Best in Shows, Part 1”). 

New footage will appear in the trailer, which will also be available in high definition beginning March 9th. 

Star Trek also got high visibility from its Superbowl ad.
