Days of Wonder has announced the May release of Memoir ’44 Battle Map Vol.2 ($18.00), which includes two WWII scenarios, Tigers in the Snow, which is set on the Eastern Front, and Operation Market Garden, which is based on Montgomery’s attempt to drop Allied forces behind German lines in the Netherlands. 

The Battle Map series is designed to encourage team play and accommodates up to 8 players.  The Memoir ’44 Battle Map Vol. 2 is an expansion—it requires 1 copy of the Memoir ’44 game and the Overlord Expansion or two full copies of Memoir ’44 to play.

The Market Garden scenario is fought on a unique 11-hex deep map designed by Memoir ’44 author Richard Borg.  Both maps come ready-to-play with all terrain, obstacles and unit positions pre-printed, which makes set up a snap.  Battle Map Vol. 2 comes with 6 new Tiger Tank miniatures and 2 additional bonus scenarios that are playable on the regular Memoir ’44 board, Villers-Bocage and St. Aignan de Cramesnil.
