Wizards of the Coast has revealed the name (and other information) for its October large set for Magic:  The Gathering.  The 249-card set, Zendikar (Deadly Perils, Priceless Treasures) will street on October 2nd, with pre-release events planned for September 26-27, and launch parties on October 2-4. 

Mark Rosewater is the lead designer, with Doug Beyer, Graeme Hopkins, Kenneth Nagle and Matt Place on the team.  Henry Stern is the lead developer, with Aaron Forsythe, Mark Globus, Erik Lauer, Devin Low, Matt Place, Mike Turian, and Steve Warner on the team. 

Previews of the new site will start on the Magic Website on September 7th.
