'Anime Insider' Shuts DownThen There Were TwoPublished: 03/26/2009, Last Updated: 03/27/2009 03:52am Wizard Entertainment has ceased publishing Anime Insider, its monthly anime magazine, according to an e-mail from Wizard Editor in Chief Scott Gramling. The shutdown takes effect with issue #67, which was recently released.
This leaves two monthly magazines, Wizard and ToyFare, in the Wizard stable. The company shut down Inquest, its game magazine, in late 2007 (see “Wizard Kills Inquest”). The company also publishes the Toy Wishes annual special.
Wizard also reduced its roster of shows this year, cutting back from four to two (see “Wizard World LA Postponed, Texas Canceled”). |
