The 2009 Diamond-Alliance Summit, held Oct. 11-13 and following the Baltimore Comic-Con, will combine elements of the game-centric Fort Wayne Summit (which will not be held in 2009) with the comics programming and seminars typically found at the Baltimore Summit (see “One Diamond-Alliance Summit in ‘09”).

“We’re looking at the Baltimore and Fort Wayne shows as combining in the Baltimore show,” said Alliance Game Distributors VP of Marketing and Customer Service Mike Webb. “We’re looking at adding a stronger game focus than you might normally see.”

The Baltimore Comic-Con wraps up its consumer events on Sunday the 11th, and Diamond-Alliance will use that day as a lead-in to the Summit by hosting several seminars, demos, and other programming for hobby game retailers, with a greater concentration on comics programming on Monday and Tuesday.
