Peter Berg (Hancock) is slated to direct a film based on Hasbro’s Battleship game, according to multiple sources.  Jon and Erich Hoeber, who wrote Whiteout, are writing the script. 

The film is part of a long term deal between Hasbro and Universal (see “Monopoly, Magic Movies on Tap?”).
