In one of the stranger corporate crossovers in recent history, Warner Brothers Digital Distribution is distributing IDW’s Terminator Salvation:  The Prequel comics (see “IDW Readies Terminator Comics”) as its first digital comics for iPhone and iPod Touch.  The app uses Genus’s Kamikaze:  Le Edition engine (see “Contract with God on iPhone”).

Terminator Salvation is a Warner Bros. movie, of course, but the choice of an IDW comic as the first digital comic from Warners, which has a pretty substantial comic company of its own (DC), is an interesting choice.
