Evan Rachel Wood (The Wrestler, Across the Universe, Thirteen) will play Mary Jane in the Spider-Man Broadway production Spider-Man, Turn Off the Dark (see “Spider-man, Turn Off the Dark”). Wood has been talking about the role as she’s out (along with Larry David) behind Whatever Works, the new Woody.
Spider-Man has not yet been cast. The production is scheduled to begin previews on February 25, 2010.
Alan Cumming will play villain Norman Osborn in the play.
