Origins Attendance Down

The Game Manufacturer’s Association (GAMA) has announced that attendance at the Origins Game Fair, held in Columbus over the June 25-28 weekend, was down 18% from 2008 levels.  GAMA announced attendance of 14,190 in 2008 (see “Origins Attendance Up”). 

 

The composition of attendees also changed, with 16% growth in the number of day-pass tickets.  GAMA said that the number of sponsors and of vendors in the exhibit hall were both up vs. 2008.
