There is a U.S. audience for the Dragonball Evolution feature after all, it just wasn't in theaters; it’s been the #1 download on the Playstation Network for the past two weeks, since its release on July 26th.  The movie disappointed at the U.S. box office, where it opened with only a paltry $4.65 million its first weekend in theaters (see “Hannah Laps Street Racers”). 

Dragonball videogames have been a staple for years, with numerous titles available for both Playstation and the PSP portable device, and they’ve clearly made their mark on that audience.
