Fantasy Flight Games’ Q4 release schedule keeps growing, with several more releases scheduled for the month of November. They supplement FFG’s already-crowded late-2009 calendar, which includes a Collector’s Edition of War of the Ring (see “War of the Ring: Collector’s Edition”), a new edition of Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay (see “Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay 3rd Edition”), and a number of other board-game releases (see “FFG’s Upcoming Releases”).

Battle of the Zealot (MSRP $9.95) is the second monthly Battle Pack for the Warhammer: Invasion Living Card Game, following October’s The Skavenblight Threat (see “First Expansion for ‘Warhammer LCG’”). It adds 20 new cards in a 40-card pack centered around the aftermath of the Skavenblight.

FFG’s other LCGs also see new expansions in November. Princes of the Sun ($24.95), a 120-card expansion for A Game of Thrones, adds the Dornish House Martell to the game (players can also buy a hefty stone House Martell house card for $14.95), while Search for the Silver Key ($9.95) adds 20 new cards to Call of Cthulhu.

Three brand-new standalone games are also scheduled for release in November. Planet Steam is set in the year 2415 and pits players against each other in the battle to control the vast resources of the titular planet. The high-polish $124.95 game includes a huge board and high-quality components. Letter of Marque ($24.95) is a card game of high-seas adventure for three to six players designed by Bruno Faidutti of Citadels fame, while Bushido ($49.95) is a board game of strategic resource management where players compete to become shogun of feudal Japan.

The Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay: The Adventurer’s Toolkit ($29.95) adds several dozen new action and talent cards for WHFRP 3rd Edition, as well as four party sheets, a pad of character sheets, new character standups, and additional tokens.

Wings of War: World War II Deluxe Edition ($69.95) contains the full Wings of War rules, as well as a full set of player boards, maneuver decks, and tokens. The set also comes with four accurately sculpted and fully painted miniatures of the Spitfire, Messerschmitt, Zero, and Wildcat planes.

Finally, the Tribune Expansion ($34.95) adds the house of Brutii to the intrigues of ancient Rome, an expanded game board with new locations, slaves, assassins, and new victory conditions that can be easily incorporated into the Tribune base game.
