Lionsgate has set April 16, 2010 as its release date for Kick-Ass, based on the graphic novel by Mark Millar and John Romita Jr., according to Variety.  The studio picked up the

film for distribution last month (see “Kick-Ass Gets a U.S. Distributor”).  It moved The Expendables, a Sylvester Stallonne vehicle, to August to make room.
