Bandai's Jerry Chu updated us on Bandai's plans for the coming months at Anime Expo (see 'Growing Pains at Anime Expo'). Earth Girl Arjuna is planned for release beginning in October in four volumes.  While produced for TV, Chu described the anime as 'theatrical quality,' and it will be released on DVD in anamorphic widescreen.  The TV show was among the top-rated anime in Japan last year (see 'Japanese Top 10 Anime').

Other acquisitions announced at the show included anime series Infinite Ryvius, OVA series Melty Lancer, and the Ronin Warriors OVAs (Bandai has already been releasing the TV series on DVD).  Bandai will also be releasing the Love Hina Christmas Special and another one-shot Love Hina episode on DVD.
