Mad Max 4 will begin filming in Australia next August, according to the Daily Telegraph.  The deal to film in Australia came about after plans to film in Namibia collapsed over war and the decline of the American dollar, director George Miller told the paper. 

Casting for the film, titled Mad Max:  Fury Road, is well underway, but Miller claimed no final decisions have been made.  Charlize Theron has been widely rumored as the female lead (see “Charlize Theron in Mad Max 4”).
