Marvel has announced that the shareholder vote on its proposed acquisition by Disney will take place on December 31st, with the transaction scheduled to close immediately after if shareholders approve.  That means that Q4 2009 will probably be the last time we see Marvel financial information in the kind of detail that’s been available while Marvel’s been a public company; Marvel’s performance will become buried in the bowels of Disney’s, much as DC’s is in Time Warner’s now.
