With 'Absolute Powerforce' Release in Feb.

Published: 01/21/2010 10:29pm

Konami Digital Entertainment has announced its first Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game sneak peek event of 2010 featuring the soon-to-be-released Absolute Powerforce booster set.  The Absolute Powerforce boosters will be released at Official YGO Tournament stores participating in the sneak peek event on either February 6th or February 7th, depending on the store’s preference.  The Absolute Powerforce cards will be available at hobby stores not participating in the sneak peak events and at other retailers starting on February 16th.

The 100-card Absolute Powerforce set includes five potent Synchro Monsters, including new trump cards used by Yusei and Jack, plus the new Sun and Moon Dragons of Rex Goodwin.  The set also includes a new X-Saber Synchro Monster, and as an added bonus, The Gravekeepers, who were first introduced in 2003, return in Absolute Powerforce (see “Yu-Gi-Oh! Q1 Releases”).

A new policy for 2010, which is based on feedback from the Official Tournament Stores, and which starts with the Absolute Powerforce event, allows each Duelist to play in one Sneak Peek event per day.
