'The Complete Li'l Abner'

IDW Publishing and its comic strip imprint, the Library of American Comics, announced the April publication of the first volume of The Complete Li'l Abner. The 288-page hardcover will have a cover price of $49.99. It will include both daily pages and previously un-reprinted Sunday pages from Al Capp’s hilarious hillybilly comic strip. Volume One collects the groundbreaking newspaper strip in chronological order from its debut on August 13th of 1934 till well into 1936.
The Library of American Comics Li'l Abner series is being designed by Dean Mullaney. Volume One includes a biographical essay by Bruce Canwell and an introduction by Denis Kitchen.
