Marvel has unveiled the fourth member of the Avengers team that will take the field starting with the Heroic Age-launching Avengers #1 in May, and it’s Hawkeye.  Clint Barton, who has died and come back to life more times in the past few years than a member of the cast of Lost, is back in the purple.  It appears that Clint will be wielding his bow and arrow and sporting the “H” on the cowl of his trademark purple uniform once again, and his recent setbacks haven’t seemed to have fazed him as his caption reads: “I have no fear of failure.”

Clint was featured prominently in the graphic announcing Marvel’s Heroic Age, which is slated to turn the Marvel Universe in a new direction that will offer “a renewed sense of hope and optimism” (see “Marvel Launching Heroic Age”).
