Liquid Comics and self-help guru Deepak Chopra are teaming up to produce a feature film based on Chopra’s graphic novel Beyond.  Suri Krishnamma, who helmed Being Othello, has signed on to direct the British production.

According to Variety, Chopra will adapt his own graphic novel.  Beyond is a supernatural thriller about a businessman whose wife disappears while on a trip to India.  The man’s only think to his missing spouse is her cries, which he alone can hear filtered through the ether.

Chopra wrote Beyond for the now defunct Virgin Comics.  Liquid Comics, which was founded by Chopra’s son Gotham, acquired Virgin Comics and the screen rights to many of its properties in September of 2008 (see “Virgin Comics Acquired”).
