Zenescope has acquired the comic and graphic novel rights to the WB TV series Charmed, and plans to launch the series with a #0 issue in June and #1 at San Diego Comic-Con in July.  The series will be co-written by Paul Ruditis, author of several Charmed novels, and comic writer Raven Gregory; with interior art by Dave Hoover.

The Charmed TV series ran for 178 episodes over eight seasons ending in 2006, averaging over 4 million viewers throughout its run.  It featured stories about the Halliwell sisters, three beautiful, powerful witches battling evil in modern San Francisco.

The storyline of the comic will pick up after the end of the TV series.
