Film rights to the Image comic series Existence 2.0 have been acquired by Paramount, with Smallville scribes Miles Millar and Alfred Gough attached as writers, according to Hollywood Reporter.  The three issue series by Nick Spencer and Ronald Salas was released last year.  It tells the story of a physicist whose consciousness is transferred into the body of the hitman that just killed him.

Producers will include Platinum Dunes, the company run by Michael Bay, Andrew Form, and Brad Fuller; and Circle of Confusion’s David Alpert.  Circle of Confusion’s Rick Jacobs, Gough, and Millar will executive produce.
