Days of Wonder will release
Breakthrough, the new expansion for the popular
Memoir ’44 board game, in
North America during May 2010.
The European release is scheduled for April.
The new expansion features two double-sided gameboards. These new boards are nearly twice the size of the regular Memoir ’44 boards, and are designed for use with the 15 new scenarios that are also included in the package. The boards are double-sided, showing a total of four different battlefields: countryside, beach, winter, and desert. The included scenarios feature battles from some of the war’s pivotal campaigns, including Operation Crusader and Operation Amherst.
This expansion requires a copy of the basic
Memoir ’44 game, and some of the included scenarios also require one or more other expansions.
The suggested retail price for Breakthrough will be $30.00.
