Fast Forward Entertainment and Sovereign Press announced that effective August 1, Fast Forward will handle sales and marketing, fulfillment, and collections for Sovereign Press products.  The arrangement is similar to an earlier agreement for Fast Forward to distribute FanPro and FASA products (see 'Fast Forward To Distribute Battletech, Shadowrun, Dark Eye').  One Sovereign Press employee, Director of Sales Renae Chambers, will transfer to Fast Forward.

Sovereign Press CEO Margaret Weis noted the history behind the new arrangement, 'We've all known each other for years, when we worked at TSR, and it's great to be together again.'  She also mentioned the upcoming release of Sovereign's Dragonlance products (see 'Sovereign Press Acquires Draonglance RPG Rights') as a reason why the relationship made sense.

The Sovereign Press product stream joins Fast Forward's own campaign and sourcebook output, FanPro and FASA's production, and Fast Forward's two magazines (Campaign and Games Unplugged) to make up substantial volume from the relatively new Lake Geneva, Wisconsin company, solidifying its position as a new mid-size player in the RPG world.
