Wizard World CEO Gareb Shamus has relocated his Big Apple Comic Con for 2010, moving it off its head-to-head match-up with Reed Exhibitions’ New York Comic Con (see “Fight!  Wizard vs. Reed”).  Big Apple Comic Con is now scheduled for October 1-3 in the Penn Plaza Pavilion.  Last year’s show was held at Pier 94.  The move offers “upgraded and larger facilities,” according to Shamus. 

Shamus also announced new dates and venue for New England Con (October 15-17 in the John B. Hynes Veterans Memorial Convention Center) and New Jersey Comic Con (New Jersey Convention and Expo Center, dates to be determined).
