AMC has commissioned Drew Struzan, who is famous for his Star Wars, E.T., and Indiana Jones movie posters to create a design celebrating the new AMC series The Walking Dead, which is based on the Image Comic book series written by Robert Kirkman.  The posters will be given away (while supplies last) at AMC booth at Comic-Con.

The Walking Dead showrunner Frank Darabont chose Struzan to create the poster, which marks the first time that the famed illustrator has drawn zombies.  Darabont told Ain’t It Cool News that, if The Walking Dead remains on the air, AMC will commission a new poster for the San Diego Comic-Con from a different major artist every year.
