At the San Diego Comic-Con, award-winning comic book writer Grant Morrison (Batman & Robin) announced that he is writing Sinatoro, an original, psychedelic thriller for the indie shingle Zdonk Productions.  Music video director Adam Egypt Mortimer is attached to direct the project.

Morrison described Sinatoro is a genre-busting hallucinatory road-trip into the American psyche.  Sinatoro is the story of a man with no past and no memories, the sole survivor of a car crash in the desert, who is convinced by the daughter of a cult leader to join forces with a deranged astronaut, a drunken cowboy and an army of hobos to take on a dangerous gangster who has taken over her town.
