NG International, the Italian publisher of Nexus and Tenki games, will run demos of Magestorm and two other board games at its booth at GenCon.  Created by Pietro Cioni, Magestorm is a new board game where magic is centerstage in a battle between different factions fought under the shadow of mighty wizards each with different powers.  By choosing a different mage to support their army, players can change the game experience completely.

Magestorm is set in Aleen, a world with two suns, where humans are attempting to re-occupy the Old Continent after spending thousands of years in the Western Continent.  The first boxed set of Magestorm, which is scheduled to be released in October, will feature two armies, the human invaders (Kragis) and the ancient race of humanoids (Lausjan), and four mages, the Fire Mage, the Air Mage, the Druid, and the Fate Guardian.

At GenCon NG International will also be demo-ing two other board games, Dakota and Whitechapel (see “Dakota, Funny Little Games in Whitechapel”).  Nexus games are generally sold through Fantasy Flight Games in North America.
